Working the Press
Good to see this photo of Dad from last month, cranking one of the presses at Gaspreau Press up in Kentville. It is my understanding that he is working on some projects around some early woodcuts using the letterpress with those images to create or update that body of work. He seems very excited about this work and great to have a facility and support like Gaspreau Press to make it all come together.
He has spent multiple weekends setting type for this and felt good about relearning the process from his days doing Saturday Night and Sunday Press work back in PA.
Sorry to hear that Gaspreau Press has been sold and this facility will not be around much longer but fun that Dad is getting to have a brief moment working there.
